昔、大名のお城では、お風呂やお手洗いにも畳が敷かれていたそうです。
それにならって「湯の花亭」は、お部屋や廊下はもちろん、お手洗い、野天風呂、さらには浴槽の中までも！畳を敷きつめました。 日本でいちばんタタミにこだわった旅館として、遠方からのお客様にも大変ご好評をいただいております。
全館の総畳数は4322畳。まさしくお殿様気分、お姫様気分を満喫していただける旅館になりました。
