The Magome area of Nakatsugawa City in Gifu Prefecture is located almost in the center of Japan and is rich in nature with paddy fields and mountains. The Nakasendo highway, which opened in the early Edo period, runs through the center of the region from Kyoto to Tokyo. You can feel the atmosphere of the Edo period and the historical atmosphere of Japan. There are many souvenir shops and cafes in Magomejuku.
